Thomas Nägele betreut internationale Finanz-, Technologie- und Industrieunternehmen aus den Bereichen Blockchain/DLT, Künstlicher Intelligenz, Telekommunikation und Internet sowie öffentliche Institutionen. Als Liechtensteinischer Rechtsanwalt mit Erfahrung als Softwareentwickler befasst er sich mit dem Internet-/IT-Recht, Künstlicher Intelligenz, Cyber-Security (-Resilience) sowie mit dem Zivil- und Gesellschaftsrecht. Er nimmt auch die damit zusammenhängende Rechtsberatung wahr und übt Lehr- und Vortragstätigkeiten aus. Zudem hat er sich auf den Bereich Unternehmensführung spezialisiert.
Thomas Nägele war darüber hinaus Mitglied der Arbeitsgruppe der Regierung des Fürstentums Liechtenstein, welche das TVTG (Token- und VT-Dienstleister-Gesetz; auch Blockchain-Gesetz genannt) verfasst hat. Seine Doktorarbeit hat er über die Rechtsnatur von Token verfasst.
